Who am I am and why am I doing this. I think those are usually the first questions that people ask, or rather that I should ask myself.
I’m a 34 year old Accountant that is laid up at home this week recovering from rotor cuff surgery. I guess that’s my starting point at least. Once upon a time I used to want to be a photojournalist. I lost touch with writing over the years and then this last Christmas my husband bought me a Nikon D5100. I have a Flikr account, but then I realized that sometimes there’s more of a story behind it than the small description allowed by Flickr and it just doesn’t cut it for me. So here I am. Armed with a camera, a couple of Nikon photography classes, and some wishful writing talent.
I love traveling, I love my husband, I love photography, I love my cat, I love I can haz cheezburger along with all kinds of cute cat stuff. I’ll probably have plenty of cat posts but I’ll try not to make them too boring. I think in photography a lot. I drive to work and see something and I think, “wow that would make a great picture”. So again, here I am.
So I guess that makes this a photoblog of my life and what I’ve seen and what I love. Hopefully you’ll love it too.
